Join Polonia newsgroup - Get Connected…Stay Informed

Do you like to stay informed concerning Polish cultural events in the Greater Philadelphia area? Do you like to know when shows, lectures, and exhibits related to Poland are taking place? The Philadelphia Chapter has organized a new way for members and friends to stay plugged in to the Polish pipeline: a Yahoo newsgroup called “KFPhillyPolonia”.

The Philadelphia area is rich in Polish-American organizations, churches, groups, and radio and television media. It seems like there is always something going on in our area related to Polish culture whether it is a lecture, exhibit, dance, or show. Those of us who live in the Philadelphia metropolitan area are rather fortunate that we have such numerous opportunities to gather together and celebrate our Polish heritage. At the same time, information about these events does not always reach us in time for us to participate in and enjoy them. The Philadelphia Chapter is pleased to offer a new service through which Chapter members and friends can share information about Polonia-related events and activities. This public forum is called “KFPhillyPolonia” and it is a free Yahoo newsgroup. The newsgroup archive acts as a virtual bulletin board, where anyone can read messages that have been posted to the group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/KFphillyPolonia/. In order to post announcements to the list, users must join the group by either sending an email to

KFphillyPolonia KFphillyPolonia complements our previously-established newsgroup, KFPhilly, which acts as a listserve through which the Board of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Kosciuszko Foundation sends official announcements and news of upcoming Chapter events.  Because this newsgroup carries only announcements from the Chapter, it generates only 2-3 emails monthly.  Anyone can join this group by sending an email to KFphilly-subscribe@yahoogroups.com or by pressing the subscribe button below:
